Valentine’s Cookie Decorating Party in Nashville, Tennessee

One of my favorite texts to receive is when my friend Jessica asks me to photograph a party at her house, so when she texted me in early February about shooting her daughter’s Valentine’s cookie baking party I couldn’t check my calendar fast enough to see if I was available.  Thankfully I was so the Saturday before Valentine’s I showed up to her Nashville mansion ready for a day filled with pink sprinkles.  Jessica is a fabulous host so it was no surprise that she had the cutest aprons made for her daughter, Emmy Rose, and her friends.  There were two stations, the dough/cookie cutting station, and the decorating station.  The girls were so adorable as they made their cookies and the smell of fresh baked goods filled the air.  It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
