On a beautiful autumn day, Miranda and Jake said their vows at the picturesque Wren’s Nest, just outside of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It was the perfect setting for their enchanted forest themed wedding. Miranda and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the bridal suite and when I arrived they were putting last minute touches on the decorations. Miranda was overcome with joy, so she shed a happy tear or two and even saved a few for the ceremony. The ceremony began just before sunset. Jake had the biggest smile on his face as he saw his bride escorted down the aisle by her father. The most memorable part of their wedding was when their grandparents came up to the altar during the ring exchange. Instead of child ring bearers, they had grandparent ring bearers. The image below of them holding the rings just takes me back to my grandparents 60th anniversary where there was a similar image taken. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour and the ‘Best Day Ever’ banner that the groom’s stepmother made for the special day. During that time, I got to spend time with the newlyweds to shoot during the golden hour. Once we finished portraits, the wedding party was introduced and festivities began with the traditional dances. The night was so magical and was ended by a beautiful sparkler send-off.
I had so much fun at their wedding and enjoyed getting to know Miranda, Jake, and their families. I pray for a life full of adventure, laughter, and love.
