Well, spring has sprung in Nashville, which means it’s my favorite time of year for shooting engagement sessions.  I’m so glad that my first engagement session this spring is with Ryn and Sawyer, two college sweethearts.  They’re getting married this fall at Saddle Woods Farm in Dickson, Tennessee.  The pair met while playing in the Vanderbilt band while attending Belmont University.  Belmont served as the location of the first half of their session since it holds a special place in their heart.  Sawyer  (now a Belmont grad) is currently the front-of-house sound engineer for country artist, Luke Pell while Ryn is finishing up her music degree at Belmont.

We chose Sevier Park in the 12 South area of town for the location of the rest of their session.  It’s such a great location because there are very few people around and some really pretty spots.  Since the two are big Harry Potter fans, they chose to wear their Gryffindor and Ravenclaw scarves and of course I made them do a pose like they were casting spells on each other.  I’m just going to assume that they were love spells.
