The Power of Personal Branding

In early May, Stephanie and Charlie were joined by family and friends at the Cathedral of the Incarnation off of West End in Nashville, Tennessee for a traditional Catholic ceremony.  The delicate train on Stephanie’s dress matched with her cathedral-length veil.  She gave me all the royal wedding vibes. Stephanie chose a pallet of pinks for her colors.  In fact, she had her bridesmaids pick a dress in a shade of pink and the result was so unique and made for a stunning image when they were all at the altar.

After the ceremony, everyone took a short trip to East Nashville to celebrate the couple at their reception at the elegant East Ivy Mansion.  Their wedding day fell on both Cinco De Mayo and the Kentucky Derby, so the bartenders were busy mixing signature cocktails of Margaritas and Mint Juleps.  Guests explored the mansion and grounds while enjoying apps from Dream Catering.

Once the newlyweds arrived they went right into the traditional dances, including a non-traditional song for the mother-son dance with Tupac’s ‘Dear Mama.’  Charlie told me later that he didn’t want his mom to cry during the dance so he thought he’d make her laugh instead.  It worked.

Deacon Joe blessed the meal and everyone found their table out on the lawn overlooking the garden.  Since it was Derby Day many of the Kentucky guests gathered around the TV in the mansion to watch Justify win the race.  After dinner, there were a few toasts before the DJ opened up the dance floor.  One special photo was of Stephanie and her friends from Princeton, which turned into several group shots, that I loved.  Dancing continued until they closed down the reception and took the celebration to Lower Broad.

It was so much fun getting to know Stephanie & Charlie’s families and friends.  They were all so welcoming and kind.  I wish these two many years of love and laughter!
