Nashville Wedding Stylist | My Favorite Nashville Vendors

Nashville Wedding Stylist is one of my favorite vendors to work with. The owner, Madison, was actually one of my interns back in the day when I worked on Music Row. We kept in touch ever since and I’ve been in awe watching her business grow into things that are just unbelievable. I mean she has her own makeup line after all (MHD Cosmetics). I’m so very proud of how well she is grown her business by having several associates.

Here is what Madison said about why she started her wedding hair and makeup business, ”I got into the wedding industry because I felt that there was a need for a more organized, professional approach to wedding hair & makeup in our area. I’m one of those rare creatives that enjoys both the business aspect and the creative aspect of my field equally. Having been a Nashville bride myself in 2014, I really understand the need for our clients to have wedding vendors that are highly communicative, professional, provide a great, quality service, and can work well with others. While there are a lot of hair & makeup stylists in our area that do beautiful work, this is what I feel sets Nashville Wedding Stylist apart from the rest.”

I love getting to shoot at any wedding where I know she’s doing the makeup because I know the brides are going to look beautiful. Throughout the years, we have worked together on a few styled shoots as well as weddings. Here are some of my favorite images and makeup from her and her associates on a wedding day or styled shoot. If you are looking for someone to do your hair and makeup she is a one-stop-shop and I highly highly recommend her. In fact, I’m hoping to hire her services to help me with a personal shoot I have in mind later this year.

I was so excited when I found out that my bride, Miranda, had hired Madison and her team to do hair and make-up for her wedding day. Since her bridesmaids also had their hair and make-up done, she was able to bring along a few of her associates too. And let’s just take a moment to admire Miranda’s eyelashes in the closeup shot below.

A few years ago, Madison hired me to photograph some images of her make up line, MHD Cosmetics, for her social media and website. We had a bast shopping at Michael’s for fun props to add in, especially for the seasons.

One of my favorite styled shoots that Madison and I collaborated on was a bridal shoot at East Ivy Mansion in East Nashville. She arranged three beautiful models so that we could have images of a bride with two bridesmaids wearing dresses courtesy of Modern Trousseau of Nashville. You can view the full shoot here.

The very first styled shoot that I did all on my own (aka not in a workshop setting) was at Homestead Manor with Madison of course! She is my model connection and knew Amelia. She was the perfect model bride! Madison created such a beautiful timeless look for this shoot. To date, these are still some of my favorite images! You can see the full blog post here. Oh and it was also featured on Nashville Style Guide’s blog, which you can read here.
