Earlier this year I ran a giveaway on Instagram for a couple’s mini session.  Sweet Kelsey of K.Kelley Designs won the session.  I reached out to her and she asked if she could use the session as a branding shoot instead since she was needing some fresh headshots for her business.

As much as I love working with couples, I love working with small business owners, artists, and singer-songwriters just as much.  It’s a different way for me to be creative and collaborate with a client.  I replied to her and said I would love to do something.  Initially, we were going to shoot at Arrington Vineyards, but the day we picked was a huge April shower.  So, we rescheduled and I suggested Historic Franklin.

I enjoyed getting to know Kelsey as we walked and talked about her company that designs unique wedding invitations and beautiful watercolor images.  She had the cutest bamboo purse and was just a joy to work with.  You can view her work on her website here.  Be sure to check out her custom pet portraits while you’re there!
