Tennessee Women Connect is a way for women in business to connect through intimate lunches, happy hours, and other events throughout each month. This fall, they had the first ever Women Connect Event at the Loveless Barn here in Nashville. I was honored to be asked to eb the official photographer for the event in October. As a member of Tennessee Women Connect, I know firsthand the benefits of a group like this. I was so excited to be asked and couldn’t wait to say “yes!”.
Tennessee Women Connect Live Event
If you’re familiar with Nashville, you know that the Loveless Cafe is a staple here in the city. We were all pretty excited we’d be attending the event at the Loveless Barn. Their live event offered opportunities for businesses to have booths and share what they do with the other members. I had the chance to meet CPAs, web designers, and so many more entrepreneurs from health & beauty to someone who is a Falconer. I offered complimentary headshots to the attendees, and I loved chatting with everyone who took me up on that offer.
Attending the Event…
Beyond the chance to connect, we all had four keynote speakers to enjoy: Csilla Muscan, Brooke Webb, Gigi Butler (of Gigi’s Cupcakes) and Elizabeth Evans. It was amazing to listen to their stories and thoughts as they spoke with all of the women in the room. All four women had incredible topics – Csilla and Brooke talked about social media, Gigi talked about being fearless (which was the overall theme of the event) and Elizabeth talked about time management. Seriously, it was what I (and everyone in the room) needed to hear. Finally, the VIP sponsor of the event was Her Bank and their Senior VP of Marketing and PR, Brittney Campbell, served as the emcee of the event. I loved getting the chance to hear from her, too!
Finally, during the event, the founder of Tennessee Women Connect – Lucy Miller – announced something exciting. They’re now offering a membership to the members of the program. With the membership, women will have access to other perks, connections, and resources they wouldn’t otherwise get. Again, what an incredible offer!
Thank you to Tennessee Women Connect for creating such a great program for female entrepreneurs throughout the state. And a special thank you to Lucy for asking me to photograph this beautiful event. I had a blast!
