Every branding session that I photograph gives me an intimate look at a new business. Laura and her business Southern Doula Services was no exception! She opened my eyes to a whole new world: doulas. I had no idea what these incredible women were capable of until she told me more about what she does. We planned a Nashville branding session to help create new content to help her connect with her dream client and continue to help more families and babies!

Laura chose a cute Air bnb for her branding portraits that was super light and airy. It was the perfect vibe for her brand and business. There, I got to meet her and her team as they told me how they serve as luxury support for families building connections around the birth of their new baby. Laura specializes in helping families through the “fourth trimester” and making sleep a real possibility for new parents. 

During our session, we focused on various parts of her business. From what it can look like to when she works in the office to working with babies, and everything in between, I was able to capture Laura and her team hard at work. Laura loves affirmations and quotes, so we photographed her with some of her favorites. She also had a family come to be her “clients” and model for us. It was amazing to watch her interactions with them. These women do something truly incredible and I’m honored I had a small part in capturing this stunning company. I can’t wait to see what Laura does next!
