When I photographed Meagan’s Galentine’s Event by Pretty Lovely Teas this year, I was thrilled not only to document such a beautiful day but to meet so many of the amazing business owners behind the event. Elise, of Frosted in Franklin, was one of those incredible women. She brought the most detailed and gorgeous cookies to the tea party! We got to talking and she mentioned that she hosts cookie decorating classes often. She reached out to me and asked me to come photograph her Taylor Swift cookie decorating class in Franklin, TN. She had a goal to get more marketing materials for her business. Once she told me the theme of her class, how could I refuse?!

Elise wanted to create marketing materials for this class (and others). This would help her share about it online and garner more bookings for her business. So, I came to capture her incredible cookie decorating skills and her friends as they created Taylor Swift inspired cookies. I love that Elise asked her friends to attend in Taylor Swift inspired outfits – it was a fantastic nod to the singer and helped create a fun mood during the event itself. To top it off, she hosted this class the day of the Tortured Poets Department album drop! 

Throughout Elise’s class, I made sure to capture her interactions with her friends/students, as well as the incredible detail work that she did on her cookies. They looked absolutely amazing and I’m still obsessed with all of the little details she put into her class display, decor, and food. 

Elise, this is such a great concept! I hope that you have more Swifties come to join you for future classes – and I’m so happy I could document this one for you!
