I am beyond excited to be sharing Birdie Nichols’ Downtown Franklin TN  branding session with you today! Birdie recently relocated to Franklin and wanted to update her branding photos. For many singer-songwriters, their branding photos are used to showcase their music in a variety of ways. These are always fun sessions – especially with my background! Birdie absolutely adores Franklin’s downtown area, so we knew it would be the perfect spot for her session. I couldn’t wait for the session to arrive!

Downtown Franklin Branding Session for Singer-Songwriter

On a beautiful day, Birdie and I met for her branding portraits. We started at a coffee shop and walked our way up to the square in town. Along the way, we stopped at places that suited her outfits and the songs that will be released soon. One thing I love about working with singer/songwriters is that our sessions are always so inspired by their work. From the location choice to their outfits, everything is tied back to the music they’re creating. It really makes for a fun session for me! 

Birdie was a joy to work with. She had some incredible outfits – with lots of color and accessories – for our session. I can’t wait to see what she uses these branding photos for! Birdie also brought along her guitar (of course!) and I had a blast finding some really artistic ways to capture her playing and strumming along. Branding photos need to feel unique and like they’re yours – so I wanted to ensure that her photos felt fresh and fun, like Birdie! I think we definitely accomplished what we came out to do.
