I am beyond excited to share this unique branding session with you today! I met up with Rachel, the founder of Oranges & Ancestors to capture branding photos for her podcast and genealogy services based in Gainesville Florida. For her session, she traveled to Columbia TN to meet me at Magnolia Acres (one of my favorite spots in the area!). I couldn’t wait to meet Rachel in person and I knew this session was really going to be creative and fun for both of us.
Podcast Photoshoot at Magnolia Acres
As I mentioned, Rachel is the founder of Oranges & Ancestors, which is a genealogy podcast for family historians. She focuses on sharing the stories of families, history, and travel through her show. For her branding session, we wanted to showcase the various parts of her brand in a creative and unique way. Magnolia Acres was a dream location – it’s got such a rich history, it seemed like a natural fit. Rachel was able to show off her business side and the incredible tea setups she loves so much. Inside the house, we captured more traditional headshots and photos of her recording her podcast.
Afterwards, we headed to Franklin City Cemetery for the rest of her session. Rachel is a gravesite restorer, so it was important to capture this part of her brand too. I’m so happy that we were able to create such meaningful imagery for Rachel – highlighting her amazing podcast and her special brand. I also want to give a quick shout out to Morgan’s Florals for providing some of the beautiful flowers we used throughout the session! Rachel, thank you for trusting me to capture your new branding photos! I’m so happy we had the chance to work together and create these special photos for you. I can’t wait to see how you use them all.
