Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Lucy Miller during one of our Social Media Boost sessions at A Dose of Libra Studios. If you’re not familiar, Social Media Boost is a collaborative content mini session day. Bella Delain of Gumball Media and I team up to help business owners create cohesive photo and video content. I provide the photos, and Bella does the video! Lucy took advantage of our Social Media Boost as she wanted to create artwork for her new podcast, Beyond the Handshake.  

Lucy Miller’s Podcast, Beyond the Handshake

While capturing her brand photos, she told me more about her podcast. Beyond the Handshake focuses on celebrating authentic relationships and meaningful connections in the business world, particularly among female entrepreneurs and business owners. In a culture where “networking” can often feel transactional, Lucy dives deeper. Her podcast celebrates the genuine connections that form the backbone of successful collaborations and business growth. I love that she is cultivating a space where women can come together to collaborate and partner together in business. She has such a heart for women business owners and seeing them succeed. It is truly inspiring!  

For this session, our goal was to create images that visually reflect the heart of her podcast. We captured images that exude warmth, professionalism, and the approachable energy Lucy brings to her podcast. She also brought along her podcast microphone to include in the branding photos, which was the perfect addition. The setting at A Dose of Libra Studios provided the perfect backdrop, with natural light and neutral spaces. Lucy was a joy to work with and it was an honor to be a part of this milestone in Lucy’s journey. I can’t wait to see how she uses these branding photos!
