When Toronto-based interior designer and business coach, Rebecca Hay, visited Nashville for Amy Porterfield’s mastermind retreat, she decided it was the perfect moment to refresh her brand visuals. Rebecca is known for her warm professionalism, her signature coastal-inspired aesthetic, and her candid, hype-woman approach to coaching interior designers. For her East Nashville Branding session we set out to create intentional, elevated, and personality driven images that she could use across her business and for the launch of her new website!
We spent the morning exploring 12 South and her Airbnb in East Nashville. Using the different locations allowed us to capture a mix of action shots that reflect her brand and what she does each day, as well as more relaxed, lifestyle images that reflect her brand’s personality. The result was professional yet casual images that were warm and polished.
We met at sunrise in 12 South to avoid the crowds, and it ended up being the perfect choice. The soft morning light paired beautifully with Rebecca’s classic navy-and-white ensemble with pops of red, creating a coastal-meets-southern vibe that aligned with her brand. We captured authority-driven portraits, candid walking shots, and approachable lifestyle frames, all of which highlight her friendliness and confidence.
After we wrapped in 12 South, we headed to Rebecca’s airy East Nashville Airbnb to capture the behind-the-scenes content. I always like to include props that reflect your business as it helps communicate what you do with your audience. For Rebecca that looked like her working on her laptop, writing and taking notes in her notebook, and answering messages on her phone. We made sure to include plenty of warm, playful personality moments too that show the person behind the brand.
Rebecca is more than an interior designer. She is a coach, mentor, and guide for designers. However, she doesn’t just teach interior designers how to pick finishes or manage clients. She shows them how to build profitable, high-end, burnout-free businesses. So capturing both her authority and her approachability was key, and we did just that! Now Rebecca has a full gallery of high-end, professional visuals she can use for her brand across all platforms.
