When it comes to music, visuals matter just as much as sound. An artist’s photos might appear on a physical or digital album cover, used on socials, websites, and media platforms like iTunes and Spotify. Tina Parol reached out for new artist photos for iTunes, Spotify & TV Syncs. Not only was her session so much fun, but I was able to use a little extra creativity, which I always love!
Tina’s artist branding session took place at the beautiful Preservation Park in Thompson’s Station, TN. She wanted this year’s photos to have a natural, fairy-like feel. Preservation Park was the perfect location to bring her vision to life. This spot is full of wide-open fields, soft rolling hills, and a charm that feels almost magical. As we made our way up the hill, we were greeted with one of the most gorgeous views of this small town that I’ve ever seen.
Tina trusted me and allowed me creative freedom, so I brought along a fun disposable play lens to get some vintage effects for her branding images. She loved the look of it, and it added a unique look to her final gallery. It was the perfect complement to her style and personality.
Now Tina is armed with fresh branding portraits that she can use across her platforms, from Spotify and iTunes to promotional campaigns for TV sync opportunities, and of course on her Instagram and website! They’ll give her fans and industry contacts a glimpse of who she is as an artist.
Working with Tina is always such a joy. She trusts the creative process, which makes sessions like this both inspiring and fun. I can’t wait to see how she uses these images to tell her story.
