This branding session for MHD Beauty is so special to me because I’ve worked with Madison for many years – way back into my music business days. She was my intern when I worked for Big Loud and we hit it off immediately. After I left the industry and started my business, I still had the chance to see Madison often. She and her (now) husband were models for me often. From there, I photographed their proposal. Now we work together on styled shoots and weddings – and I love referring her to my clients. So, when she reached out about a branding session, I was absolutely thrilled! I couldn’t imagine a better person to photograph branding portraits for! 

Nashville Esthetician and Beauty Expert Branding Session

When it came to Madison’s branding session, we knew right away that we’d want to photograph her session at her Houston Station studio. We began the session focusing on her aesthetician work – really showing off how she works with clients. It was a great chance to document her doing what she does best – using her eye for detail and helping her clients see themselves in their best light. I also had the chance to document some of what makes her brand unique including her own makeup line. 

After we finished up with her MHD Beauty portraits, we met up with her lead stylists for Nashville Wedding Stylists, her other brand. It was so much fun to see all of these wonderful ladies and capture some team portraits for their brand. We ended our session in a studio rental just south of town, so that I could capture some portraits of Madison working. For most brands, these “behind-the-scenes” images are SO important to share what running their business is really like. I absolutely loved the little rental we found. It was perfect for Madison’s brands!
