Earlier this year I left my job of 10 years at Big Loud Shirt and 15 years in music publishing so that I could work on building up my photography business.  Before I left I wanted to see a few things through, one being the dedication of a Mississippi to Nashville Country Music trail marker.  I worked with some amazing folks from Mississippi’s tourism board for almost a year to make this happen.  As a Mississippian myself (and with my boss also being from Mississippi), it was a huge honor to help make it happen.  The marker was placed at Big Loud Shirt’s Music Row location (1111 16th Ave. South).  The event was my second to last day at the company.  I feel that it was a cool full circle moment and the perfect way for me to end my music industry career.
