Ryn and Sawyer were married on the most perfect autumn day in early November at Cactus Creek Barn in Dickson, Tennessee. For me, this wedding had a lot of firsts…the first time the entire wedding party wore the same shoes (white Converse), the first horse in the bridal suite and couple portraits, the first Celtic handfasting (aka tying) ceremony, and the first last dance just before the grand exit. Both Ryn and Sawyer’s families were so kind and welcoming. You could tell they were so genuinely happy for their families to be merging. As Ryn walked to the ceremony, she was guarded by her ushers so that Sawyer had a true first look as she came through the doors. His reaction was so precious and priceless. After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour including corn hole, frisbee, a fire pit, and build your own s’mores while I was photographing the newlyweds. There were so many surprises throughout the evening from toasts and a dance by Ryn’s bridesmaids. They ended the night with one last dance all alone in the reception space, followed by a sparkler exit. It was the perfect end to the perfect wedding!
Ryn and Sawyer, I wish you two a lifetime of happiness. Your love is truly special and I hope that when times are tough, you’ll remember how y’all felt on this day and remember this season of your love. XO, AA
