Jana and Lee celebrated 25 years of marriage on May 6th and I was so thrilled that Jana asked me to set up an anniversary session for them.  We met at Brentwood’s Marcella Vivrette Smith Park.  I had never shot there before and it was a lovely location.  It was such a beautiful day to celebrate their love.  I’ve known Jana & Lee for 17 years (which is just crazy to think).  I met Lee when he was a staff writer at my first out of college job at Hamstein Music Publishing.  After I left that job we always stayed in touch and crossed paths being as the music business is so small.  It was such a joy to photograph two of my favorite humans.    I think my favorite photos are the ones that were recreated from their wedding as they left in their (what was then new) pick up truck that they’ve kept all these years.  Such special memories were made that day.
