It is so special to be able to photography babies growing up.  I had the honor of photographing Reese’s newborn and 6 months photos in 2016, so when her mom and dad asked me to shoot her cake smash, it was an ecstatic yes.  The event was held at their Nolensville home (just south of Nashville).  Family and friends gathered to celebrate this sweet girl.  Her colors are purple, so naturally,

all the décor was purple (which I associate with royalty and her mom is a KC girl, so she’s a Royals fan) and she was wearing the cutest baby leggings with purple sparkle hearts on the knees.

Everyone gathered around to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ and watch her dig in.  She seemed a little cautious, but as soon as she had that taste she was loving it.  After she was covered in purple icing, mom and grandma cleaned her off so that she could continue enjoying her party.  She was a happy girl, so the cake smash was successful!
